- Quick Tuscan Bean Soup
This looks like a fantastic recipe Rebecca. Just the thing for a cold wet Sunday afternoon in south west Scotland. I shall try this today.

In response to Quick Tuscan Bean Soup posted by hughtaylor: Good - I'm lazy so that's why I've come up with this adapted version. I'll often fling in an extra handful of cooked beans if I've got any around. Grated Edam is also good on top. Hope it works!

In response to Quick Tuscan Bean Soup posted by rebeccaford: I love lazy recipes. I'm not really lazy. I have a day job, write on the side, and I'm raising two boys. I love quickies.

In response to Quick Tuscan Bean Soup posted by CyndiA: A quicky means something entirely different this side of the pond Cyndi. I tried the soup recipe and it worked fine. Very tasty. What's the next one Rebecca?

In response to Quick Tuscan Bean Soup posted by hughtaylor: Yes, very different meaning here. You might get unexpected replies to saying you like quickies Cyndi! Glad the soup worked Hugh - I think I'm going to post my - quickie? - penne funghi crema. I can do it start to finish in 15 mins.

In response to Quick Tuscan Bean Soup posted by rebeccaford: Excellent I can't wait. I should send you my recipe for Italian fast food. Using fresh pasta I can have a plate of pasta topped with fresh pesto sauce on the table in less than five minutes. I can't understand why people buy supermarket pesto in a jar.
